#TBLADY: Noelle Reid, “The Dancing Doctor”
Dr. Noelle Reid describes her relationship with Thalé Blanc as “love at first sight” as she discovered us through a friend’s Instagram page and decided to drop into the store one day. Reid originally fell for our pieces’ quality and originality, however enduring love came from her seeing so much more than a beautiful exterior as she appreciated our focus on uplifting and empowering women and says “it's about the people behind it so I felt comfortable, proud, and empowered to be able to put my time, energy, and finances into a company that I believed in. I really believed in the line and its creator.”
We also saw so much more than a buyer and brand collector behind Noelle; Her energy is infectious and she is vocal about so many important causes which is what it truly means to be a TB woman whose power comes from the inside and presents itself on the outside through our pieces. We could not ask for more in a brand ambassador and are so pleased to be able to highlight her as one of the women behind Thalé Blanc.
Dr. Noelle Reid, Thalé Blanc ambassador, mother, entrepreneur, yoga enthusiast, dancer and physician describes herself as “driven, intentional, and limitless." Clearly never one to be placed in any box, at 5 years old, Reid told her (very stylish) mother that she wanted to be a "dancing doctor," and rather than smile and pat her on the head, her mother responded, "well, let's go!" Go, she did, and she never stopped. She became a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Chicago, became a mother to her daughter Gabby while in residency and never gave up the art of dancing along the way.
As a dancer, Noelle moves in and out gracefully and fluidly without bounds but not without effort. She intentionally creates her own choreography in life but is no stranger to improvising and can leap over obstacles, glide when the music changes, and rise to any occasion.
“It’s always a balance act and being a woman, that’s what feminine energy is. It’s having ebbs and flows. We can come in as ferocious as a lion or we can ease in as gentle as a stream. It just depends on what is necessary for that point in time. I try to move through life being malleable and try to adjust to whatever situation I’m in.”
