Our models are our role models, and this month we’re featuring one of our passionate brand ambassador and star on the rise— singer-songwriter Emree Franklin. Originally named “Rihanna,” Emree changed her name when she was 17, taking the inspiration from a falcon she described as “ethereal and strong and beautiful.”
Emree is one of Thalé Blanc’s current campaign models, and has modeled for us in the past. We dressed her for the Grammy Awards in 2020, where she was seen hanging out with the Jonas Brothers. In addition to being a Thalé Blanc role model, Emree is also a musician and actor. Even during the pandemic, Emree is truly a #TBLady who has drive and resilience.
GROUNDED & INSPIRED
2020 may have been many things, but ultimately the previous year left us feeling grounded, inspired, and eager to create. Our Spring 2021 collection is rooted in the juxtaposition of Thalé Blanc’s signature style meets the comforts of home. Coming out of a year where a light has been shed on supporting local resources, we’re more proud than ever before of our commitment to sustainability by designing and producing locally here in Los Angeles.
A TRANSITIONAL PIECE
This season brings us a combination of nourishing earth tones and romantic hues. Here, Emree wears our Beverly Quilted Coat Dress in olive. The standout factor of this piece is how transitional it is. With an option to keep the functional buttons clasped and worn as a dress, or unbuttoned and styled as a coat, there is cross-seasonal wear and endless styling options. The Beverly celebrates the balance of the masculine and feminine with an olive green base and quilted pocket design, balanced out by silk blush ribbons that are designed with Thale Blanc’s trademark logo. We love pairing it back to gold jewelry and one of our blush handbags as a finishing touch.
